On DATE, the movie world and the world at large lost a great man, G “Gabriel” Amato. G was a wildly successful businessman, globetrotter, and father to star of On Cinema At The Cinema, creator of hit movie series Decker, beloved founder of chart topping band DKR, and legal virtuoso, New Heidecker (formally Tim Heidecker.)
G’s death was not one without mystery however. After being put into the care of Oaks Manor for a matter of weeks, he died after ingesting expired canned goods given to him by recurring On Cinema At The Cinema special guest, former director of Victorville Film Archives, and self-accredited movie buff, Gregg Turkington. Despite the questions raised by G’s death, we are no closer to learning the truth behind this great loss.
